Description

This is a beautiful, delicate chainmaille bracelet made in a style called Celtic Labyrinth. It’s also known as Byzantine Diamond due to its structural similarities to the Byzantine chain. The bracelet is contructed from many small, individual rings to create an unusual and pleasing shape.

The piece is made from bright aluminium rings, which makes it both lightweight and durable. The natural colour of the aluminium is a grey silver, which matches the Tibetan silver toggle clasp perfectly.

The bracelet is 8 inches (20cm) long.

This intricate piece would add a touch of elegance to any outfit and is an affordable alternative to exquisite, precious metals kinds of jewellery.

I was inspired to make this piece by the intricacy of the pattern. A nice challenge, the Celtic Labyrinth unit is made up of a lot of very small rings. I like working with rings which are almost, but not quite, so tiny that I can’t see them clearly. I run my fingers along each unit to ensure the result is smooth. This bracelet is one of my favourites, and took a long time to finish. Each unit is made separately before I connect them together to create a jewellery chain. So far I have only made two Celtic Labyrinth bracelets, but I hope to eventually make more.

I make all my pieces to a high standard, the Viking way, but if you have any issues please do not hesitate to contact me.
