Purple and Blue Intricately Knotted Hemp Macramé Bracelet

Description

This is a gorgeous and intricate macramé bracelet made with hemp cord. The colours vary across the whole bracelet due to the cord I’ve used, shifting from vivid purple to blue and back. It’s finished off with a button clasp, with a knotted loop and light wood button saying “handmade with love”. The whole piece is really cute and can be worn both with a casual and a smart casual outfit.

The bracelet in the picture is 7 inches (18cm) long and half an inch (1.3 cm) wide, but if you want a different size just let me know in the comment field at checkout. I won’t charge extra unless it’s a really big size. 🙂

The easy-to-work button clasp is just a button and a loop big enough to easily push the button through. This is useful for people who have trouble with more elaborate clasps. The button and loop are quite big so it would also be suitable for people who do not have full use of their hands as they’re easy to grab onto.

Hemp is a wonderful material, biodegradable but tough and durable. While perhaps initially a bit scratchy compared to what you might be used to, it softens over time. It’s considered to be a hypoallergenic material and it wicks moisture away from the skin so it’s perfect for sensitive skin.

Care Instructions

The bracelet can be hand washed or machine washed on the cold setting, on a gentle cycle. If you put it in the washing machine, put it inside a cloth bag or tied up pillow case to protect it. Do not tumble dry. The cord itself is highly durable, but I haven’t tested how well the colours hold up, personally, so be aware that they might fade.

Keep out of sunlight as much as you can as this can make the colours fade.

Sizing and Custom Orders

It’s important to make sure you get the right size bracelet. To measure your wrist, use a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist at a comfortable tightness. Mark off where the end meets the rest of the string, then measure the length of the piece of string.
